The Journey of a Million Turns Begins with this Single Step

How to book the perfect Canadian heliskiing getaway

So you’ve arrived at Skeena mentally. Let’s get you here in person.

Book a heliskiing trip and we will take care of the rest: unlimited skiing, next-level food, and a vibe that keeps you flying long after the helicopter blades stop spinning.

Not every day is a guaranteed powder day, but every day is unforgettable. Please make sure you understand all the information below. If you have any questions, ask us. We are here to make dreams happen.

FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO HELI-HEAVEN

Step 1 - Find your People
Step 1 - Find your People

The first move is to organize your crew. Tell your friends and family that you want to go heliskiing in Canada. Ask if they’ll join.

If you can’t find a crew and will be travelling solo, hit us up anyway. We work with passionate people to fill helicopters (and will only accept the booking if we think all parties would get along).

Are you wanting to bring your own group, but at this stage you’re unsure how many people that will be? No worries, we have many guests who book a certain number of seats and then fill them over the summer.

Our A-Star helicopters fit 4 guests per load. We recommend groups of 4, 8, or 12. For groups of 4, the options are the Classic Unlimited Vertical package or the best option, book a Private Helicopter.

For groups of 8, the options are to book the Two Group package, or to book two Private Helicopters.

For a group of up to 12, and the ultimate heliskiing experience, enjoy exclusive use of our entire operation with a Lodge Buyout. Smart move, skier.

Step 3 - Contact Us For Availability
Step 3 - Contact Us For Availability

Thanks to our awesome repeat guests, we often sell out. Because of this, we strongly suggest booking ahead of time. Way ahead.

Step 4 - Sign Digital Waiver & Complete Booking Form
Step 4 - Sign Digital Waiver & Complete Booking Form

If we have dates available and you would like to book, we will send you a Digital Waiver and a Booking Form to complete before we accept your reservation.

Step 5 - Pay Deposit To Secure Reservation
Step 5 - Pay Deposit To Secure Reservation

Once you have submitted the Waiver and Booking Form we will send you an online invoice from our payment processor—called Flywire—and you pay the deposit to confirm your booking. The most important part is done. Congrats.

Step 6 - Purchase Travel Insurance
Step 6 - Purchase Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance. For details, see the section Trip Cancellation/Interruption & Medical Insurance below.
Step 7 - Secure Travel Visa + Airfare
Step 7 - Secure Travel Visa + Airfare

Everyone except Canadians and Americans needs to apply for an eTA (Canadian Electronic Travel Authorization). It’s easy, quick, and cheap to do at the official government website. After that, book your airfare and any hotels you need before and after your visit to Skeena Heliskiing.

Once you have your eTA, go ahead and book your airfares, as well as any hotels you may need before/after your heliskiing trip.

Step 8 - Lunges, Lunges, Lunges
Step 8 - Lunges, Lunges, Lunges
Start training. The fitter you are, the more you’ll enjoy the trip.
Step 9 - Pay Balance (120 days before trip)
Step 9 - Pay Balance (120 days before trip)

You will receive a reminder that the balance of your invoice is due 120 days before you visit. If you have booked within 120 days before your trip, the full amount is due.

Our Cancellation & Refund Policies

Trip Cancellation/Interruption & Medical Insurance

We understand life happens and something might happen to prevent you from joining the trip which you booked with us.

As your deposit, and the package balance if cancelling within 120 days of your trip start date, are non-refundable, we very strongly recommend that you purchase Trip Cancellation/Interruption and Medical Insurance. This can help you recoup any money paid for your trip if the cancellations fit within the policy.

We strongly advise our guests to have suitable travel insurance that includes:

1. Heliskiing
2. Emergency Medical Insurance (including Emergency Evacuation Coverage)
3. Trip Cancellation & Trip Interruption

We work with Lifestyle Travel Insurance Services, an insurance agency that specializes in heli-skiing. They can provide you with an easy and affordable option. Their Trip Cancellation & Trip Interruption Insurance includes coverage for COVID-19, and their Emergency Medical Insurance includes Emergency Evacuation Coverage!
